Half the officers in this depot have been down with it ("Spanish Fly" is the latest name for the disease round camp. I believe the first bad epidemic of it started in Spain hence the name! I am glad to say so far I have escaped being bitten! We are having a regular wet Sunday this week, the rain is very badly needed for the crops as there has been a long spell of drought,& things were getting pretty well dried up.
