I mean to take something else in tomorrow, nothing like enjoying oneself, while one has a chance! One appreciates a show like that tremendously after a long siege of camp life. I haven't let the Aunts know that I am up in town again, anyway I haven't got the time to run out to "Catville" this time. This morning I took a stroll alongside the Thames & down by Westminster abbey. I passed by Cleopatra's Needle & saw the damage the bombs had done to it, one of the metal sphinx is pierced by shrapnel. This is really the only trace of air raids I have noticed round the town so far. | I mean to take something else in tomorrow, nothing like enjoying oneself, while one has a chance!
