have a big day at it; on an ordinary week end one hasn't time to do anything as shops all shut early on Saturday, so it just happens that Monday will come in very handy. Now that I have become a Machine Gunner, I will have to get a whole new uniform, and will have to discard my highland tunic and "Glen", fortunately I am needing a new tunic etc. rather badly, so the things I discard will not be of great value! Will be rather sorry in some ways to give my old "glen" as I have been wearing it a long time now, a peaked cap will feel rather out of place on my old "dial," and at first I expect I will feel rather an ass in one! am also getting leggings
