It gives me a great deal of pleasure to answer your very kind and welcome letter dated Nov 17th. 1917. which I recived quite safe two days ago, and I thank you with all my heart for your kind wishes and the many nice parcels I have recived from you. I am not much good at writing letters hope some day I shall have the pleasure of seeing and thanking you personly, I can then better explain the good work you and so many other people are doing for the prisoners of war in Germany
