He looks well and has lost some of his stammer, perhaps the Shells had some affect on him.  He was wounded. Old Fritz pulled off an air raid just before I left the Cresent Hospital at Croydon, a very slow affair it seemed, but every body seemed to get the "wind up" and the sisters woke me up at an unearthly hour to tell me there was air raid on.  They brought two Gothas down that night.
