Band concert, or whatever else was on. It was the proper thing to do.

George dropped in on me sometime ago, as I already wrote Wynnie or some other member of the family.
The Battn was in the line at this time & George took the grand tour and saw all there was to see at the moment. He was of course, immensely interested.
The Col. gave him a ferry up [illegible], which I think opened his eyes as to what can be done in this time & also I believe
