the wet days are terrible. There are crowds of soldiers every where French, Arabs, Indian, etc.

The muffler is splendid I am keeping it till it gets cold at present it is quite warm.

I am glad to hear that you are having a change I hope you are enjoying it. It would be nice to see you again in a little time but I am afraid the war will go on for a long time. I have a lot to do so I must finish now.
