I was sorry to hear about your friends getting killed but I suppose it can't be helped. I had a fine [ ? ] with Betty & Ruth the Tretheweys have a lovely big country home and estate, it certainly was a great relief after France. Both the girls are going in a hospital over here soon, it is very hard work though and I doubt very much if they will like it. I am getting awfully
