Dearest Mother & Father Elizabeths letters came to me a couple of days ago but not the one with the snaps in or yours. As you can see I am back in the Machine Guns again The Col of the depot was our M.G.O in France and so most of the boys that have been sent back are here now. This is far better than the Infantry Rese. they do'nt fool around so much and the casualties do'nt go back to France until the (umpties) go. So I am sure to be here when the boys come over unless something out of the ordinary
