Spring has really come at last and it is a great relief after such a rotten winter . the boys at the front had an awfully time, with the big advance right on top of everything.

How does Elizabeth like working in the bank. It must be rather hard at first. anyway this warm weather makes my home sick. I want to get away from this blooming army and go rambling around the hills again
