Your very welcome letter came a few days ago. I am always glad to get your letters. It is not very often that I hear from anyone it is my own fault because I only write to you and Betty. The boys are in the trenches now and I am going in quickly. it has been pretty quiet lately. but nevertheless we will all be glad when they move us out of these parts.
