My dear Dode,

Ever so many thanks for your letter of 8th June which has at last turned up after following us all around England. It was awpt awfully good of you to write and I did appreciate it. I could not think who was writing from the B of W Vancouver & I can assure you it was a very great surprise when I opened the letter & saw it was from you. I think you are most awfully wise to work & I am sure people [?] admire you for it most awfully. Dave also
