+ | I enjoyed your letter so much. Father Fleming tells me he heard from you. He is very fit. All of us are. The younger officers are doing excellent work Lindsay, Tupper & Maclean. It is pretty hard and important work they have at times. They sure are all cheery & keen. We have lost some good ones but "c'est la guerre". Just now we are out of the trenches for a 4 day rest and are in billets close by - within rifle range & the shells fall unpleasantly close by day | ||
