I received your personal note of the 20th, instant, and was very glad indeed to hear from you. I had always intended writing you, but thought that something would turn up in a business way long before it did; however, at the first opportunity to have anything done in Victoria, I of course thought of you, and it was very gratifying to me to find-as of course I expected-the position which your firm occupies in Victoria,

I note what you said with regards to the "G" officers of the old division. Bertram went to Australia, Alex is in the District office at Montreal and Rae either went to South Africa or Australia, I am not sure which. Little Hall, I suppose, is in Quebec; Chevers, who was with us once, is here in Winnipeg; WoIntyre, who was wounded in April, 1918, is with the North American Furniture Company at Owen Sound, and J.L.R. Parsons, who was once with us as "G.2" and "G.3" is at Regina, and is still in the Army; he is G.S.O. I there. The aristocratic Groavenor probably you have heard ofl he is now with the Army and Navy Stores, and I think you would bet with me that they are more alive than they ever were in their history.

He tells me that Neilson, who was also once with us as a "G" officer, is coming West in March, with General Buzstall. This gives you a pretty good idea of where most of the people you refer to are.

He tells me that Neilson, who was also once with us as a "G" officer, is coming West in March, with General Burstall. This gives you a pretty good idea of where most of the people you refer to are.
