15 Novr Wed Relieved by 27th. Took advance party out in daylight to Bois de Bouvigny about 4 miles odd. Pleasant walk brisk autumn day with gleams of sunshine. Felt better. Relieved 28th. Reported to OR for duty as actg asst adjt

16 Thurs Very cold quarters - Frosty and windy. Busy in Ord Room till 11 pm

17 Frid Still colder. Kept pretty busy indoors

18 Satd Light snow - Inspection by Genl Turner pponed Thaw & milder - heavy rain at night

19 Nov Sun Parade again postponed v. mild & good breeze - Ch. parade in YMCA but Co not attend. Presentation of medal ribbons by Gen Turner at Bn Parade in [illegible] Melsom came back and Lt Corbett joined.
