Oct 14 Sat Up at 3 am. Entrained at 4:10 but still did not start till about 8 am. Changed at St Pol & reached Bruay at 3 pm. Roll call ok. Put in charge of 6th Bde reinforcements & marched out with them about 530 pm & delivered them en route to 29th at La Comté. Maisny a village passed through shewed signs of heavy shelling but was almost entirely rebuilt & repaired - Most cheering. Coal mines & high pyramids of slag heaps are features of this district. | ||
