Thursd 28  In the trenches still.  Shelling not so severe.  Enemy retreated 4 kilo + our Divn advanced.

Returned to Sunken Valley at midnight without casualty but v. tired.  Grand welcome home.  Found that I had been reported as killed + my kit sent down accordingly.
