Glorious day - watched submarine nets & fleet of small vessels round end of nets & airship overhead. Sd that in Sudan had lion caught. After lunch went to Havre & after great struggle in crowd & long wait managed to get into the sea. After a stroll along sea front watching landing of hydroplane & enjoying the crowds. Dined at Bn Off'rs Club & then walked to camp up over hill by funicular. Morkill Day & Foster breakfasted with us. |

Found range training camp & rejoined by Morkill Day & 26 2nd off'rs. V. hot. In huts. Our reg't equipped with German equipment landed in Ireland by Casement. |
