Had tea at New Inn. Wonderful church recently embellished in highest Ch. style. Wrote Chief Paymaster about deficiency in my outfit allowance. Wrote to Ince + to Lindley. Letter in Times from officer

Tues 25 Attended 3 Dist C martials at Risborough Barracks. Major Moberly presiding. In evg went for walk with Low. Met Cherries Rochfort in Folkestone with Mrs. [Tomfowly?]. App'd to Brigade either for spec'l [illegible] or leave.
