Another curious little thing I forgot mention. At our last headquarters in Belgium, at Salmchateau, directly across the street from our mess was a sign "Massey Harris." It did seem utterly out of place in that rocky mountainous hard bitten country on the edge of Germany.

We shall eventually find ourselves in the neighbourhood of Bonn on the Rhine & there we shall keep our Christmas and settle down for a bit.

This march to the Rhine has proved pretty hard for our troops & they are beginning
