Hugh Le Fanu wrote me the other day.  He had not much news but said that Johnnie Somerville was a Commander at some special duty in Portsmouth on the War Staff + that he has a D.S.O.

My circle of friends and acquaintances has increased enormously lately and I dare say will do me no harm.  Division is giving me some further duties of a senior legal nature so it looks as if they meant to keep me but one never knows
