We are having absolutely perfect weather + today gave me an opportunity to enjoy it.  There was first a ride to a F.G.C.M. (at wh I was disappointed not be meet Brian) and then a walk home over the hills.

By the way I saw Arthur Bridgman at Folkestone + found him well + in good spirits.  He had just arranged to get Monty a commission in Motor Boat Patrol - A.J.W.B will have to take care of himself but by doing that has nothing special to fear.  The skin of his face looks rather looser like the skin on a russet apple at this season otherwise he showed no change.
