How to fit Harry for his struggle for a livelihood is indeed a difficult problem at this time. If he shows any proper desire to improve himself I should like to give him every opportunity for he will need it most. Your letter written at Christmas time has just arrived recording your feelings on the result of the Election and telling me the news of the family.
