To strafe a Major effectively & without raising ill feeling is not so easy. Fortunately we have only one Major & he is about the best officer off Hqrs that we have. A Scotchman & a gentleman. |
To revert to elections - of course it seems incredible to us that there should be any Canadians with so little pride in their army and with so little self respect that they can face the prospect of what must follow if conscription is not enforced as a real thing. Unfortunately soldiers in the field can't say much about this.
