My dear brother
Two of three letters from you came in together, one containing a watercolour sketch on a card probably by Mrs. Wallich and a postcard view of Beacon Hill Park - for all of them I thank you.
It strikes one rather suddenly that now is the time for Christmas letters. What to say at Christmas time is rather a puzzle. Of course with us one time is much like another except that such landmarks in the calendar mark the progress of time and make one say "Another Christmas."
