owing to the late operations my place on the list for leave is much improved. I am sorry to say I am about 6th & 3 more are just going.
However the Adjutant comes just before me so I shall have to wait till he comes back which will lose me 12 days. However whenever it comes it will be very welcome.
About leaving the Bn my sticking on means I am standing in the way of someone so I feel bound to go under the circumstances.
So probably you will hear of me as a Town Major or some such useless creature. What I shall do there I don't know for it is a horribly dull job.
