My dear brother
We made another move last night and are back again to where we were I think, when I last wrote.
When moving out last time I passed a platoon on the road lead by a captain. He stopped & asked if my name was not Crease & said his was Nicholls. This made me no wiser. Then he said he had married a Leeder & so we got in touch. He was a nice looking chap but I can't remember ever meeting him so how he recognized me in a dim light & wearing a steel helmet I don't know. We talked about Cadboro Bay for a few minutes & passed on. He seems a very nice chap. Then in the village where we were billetted
