Clarence Pitts has been sent to England with laryngitis but I think there were many others who could have gone on this score.  If possible I will send you a copy of a magazine called Colour which is rather good.  I am also sending Nell a a bunch of postcards of this neighbourhood + place which really need explanation to make them refreshing.  The town ones mean a lot to those going or coming on leave.  Most of the big buildings are hospitals.  It is very hard to say whether the time we spend on drill could better not be spent in extending our scanty supply of strategical
