My dear brother,

Christmas parcels are indeed beginning to come in.

We have to send two G.S. wagons every night to the town Mayors office for the parcels.

Your wonderful parcel came last night with something of everything I could possibly want.

We never carry any drugs though we can never get any from the M.O. except castor oil or a dose of salts but I was trying to get a tin of Zambuk or something like that & you send me two. I had been thinking seriously of getting some Horlick's Milk tablets & lo & behold 2 bott. in my parcel.

Only yesterday I was going to send my batman for some shaving soap and & again the lucky bag produces a beautiful tin case with just the right thing in it. The nut candy is delicious & it is hard to get away from it. The porous plasters I shall hand over to the N.C.O for some less lucky person than myself for I have not been
