Otherwise Joe wd probably come in for something but his O.C. who did marvellously will & is entitled to first consideration will probably get a D.S.O. Talking of decorations I saw a Jap in the P.P.C.L.I. with three including the Legion of Honour - Those Japs are splendid looking men - fighters every inch. It may interest you to hear something of my part in the work. Our Bn was attacking and was [illegible] to take a certain bench & three small parties were to go through & establish outposts.  Three officers in our Co. commanded the 3 outpost parties - Joe's Co. attacked on the left & [illegible]
