Donald & Walcot are in that category - Orr likewise. Genl. Steele spotted them at once & told Orr he was a liar - Orr is now postmaster at Otterpool camp. It is flat here & near the sea which however is invisible we lie so low - I am writing this between parades lying in my blanket on the ground & using my suit case as a desk. At the moment the sun is shining & as it is warm & blowing hard things will dry up a bit. Some of the men however have been flooded out. - A few inches in elevation made a great difference here. Lydd is a pleasant town or village of a wholesome type - Our men are welcomed every where as our officers as a great improvement on what they have been getting. I could fill pages with interesting stuff if it were more easy to write
