I expect it won't be a great while before I go over to England as it has been said that some of the young officers trained in Canada will go to Texas for the winter. There is nothing definite on this yet so I can't say for sure and have no idea how soon it will be.

Most of my friends have already gone. I suppose you know Gordon Campbell has gone. Besides these Bob Greig, Eddie Copas, Dick Hall all of Victoria, have gone, in fact nearly all of our "first hundred" Canadian Cadets, so you see my turn is at hand. I rather think, if we go this fall we will be in England all winter, going to France in the spring.

I have had two letters from you since I last wrote, one dated the 9th and the other four days later. I am glad you enjoyed your "visit" with Cousin May. I take it from one of Dad's letters that you are expecting to see the Sylvesters and Mrs. Lewis this fall; on their way home from the south, I suppose. I wish I could
