scarlet fever. She seems to enjoy nursing again. Clifford is in France and Vera says he seems to enjoy it. Says the excitement is hardly sufficient for him. I am glad to hear what you say about Fred Hume I was wondering what they had done with the boy. Hope he has an agreeable and well paid job. Georgie wrote me about a month ago but I have had no opportunity to write her. Have also had a letter from Baby Brydone-Jack. I am out of touch with the rest of my friends, haven't heard from them at all.
I think I shall have to apply for a pass to Toronto next week-end and pay Uncle Fred and Aunt Jessie a visit. Haven't heard from them since I last saw them.
There seems to be nothing more to tell you about this time, so will close. Love to you both as ever.
Haworth.
