did I ever tell you that while on my first leave from France I met Jim Boyd from 70 Mile House? He had been an observer in the R.F.C.and was trying to get home to Canada to learn to fly and became a pilot himself. I met him with some others in the Savoy Hotel and we all had dinner together. I take it for granted from the enclosed letter of Vera's that Cliff has a job of some kind in Vancouver now and was suddenly posted, hence the rapid exit from Victoria. When is Georgie going to be married? I'm a bit puzzled about the car Vera mentions. If it's a Hume car then the latter have come up their feet again. if it's a Kilpatrick car then I presume Cliff is starting his married
