to go "Home Establishment" i.e, the Air Force in England. I have changed my mind about instructing in Canada for reasons which you would not understand as regards the condition of affairs in the Air Force there, but will certainly try to get some Canadian leave. I wonder if any of Dad's friends could have a word put in for it through the political channels to the Air Board. Still I may not need it.

Dad's letter was of much interest to me. It is too bad he had not a good assistant. I suppose, though, that there are very few of them left nowadays. I wouldn't have minded at all having a go at one of those trout streams he tells about. It is very kind of the people up there to remember me. By the way,
