Dearest Mother,

Dearest Mother,
Here we are moving slowly down the old St.Lawrence, on our way to Quebec. We left Toronto yesterday morning at about 9:30 and arrived in Montreal at 6:00 in the evening. Some of us went up to the Windsor Hotel and had dinner and loafed around till 8:00, when we reported at the dock and found that we were to go on this boat, the nicest that sails from Montreal.

Last night I did up a photo and mailed it to you. Hope you will like it. I gave one to Uncle Fred and one to the Smiths. Both Uncle Fred and Aunt Jessie seem to like it. They said
