Q  Speaking of the  tongue, you said the tongue had been bitten .A I did'nt say bitten.  It was scarred an inch from the tip on  the left side.

Q Was the  tongue protruding from his mouth when you saw him? A It  was not.

Q How do you account for this scar on the  tongue  ? A Well  ordinarily scars would be  inflicted on the  tongue on the day of death. Q What size was  the scar.?

A Perhaps about that size (indlecating),about half an inch or so.
