THE EXAMINATION of Choy Lung of said City of Victoria, taken on this Seventeenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and seventy -nine, at Victoria , in the province aforesaid , before the undersigned , one of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said Province , in the presence and hearing of Ah Keong who is this day charged before me.
