In the Supreme Court of Vancouver Island

To wit: The Jurors for our Lady the Queen upon their oath present that Kim Foo a Chinaman and Ah Soo a Chinaman late of the City of Victoria in the said Colony labourers on the 7th day of April A.D. 1866 at the City and in the Colony aforesaid 2 [illegible] the value of $50 of the goods & chattels of one Joseph Despard Pemberton before then feloniously stolen, taken and carried away feloniously did receive and have (they the said Kim Foo and Ah Soo each knowing the said goods and chattels, to have been feloniously stolen taken and carried away) against the form of the Statute in [illegible] & provided & against the Peace of Our Lady the Queen, her Crown and Dignity.
