5. Smoking is positively prohibited on the works except in buildings in which notices are posted permitting it.
6. Before beginning any repair work in any explosives building or on any machine or apparatus for handling explosive material, the same must be first thoroughly cleared of explosives in a proper manner and the repair then carefully made.
All tools must be handled carefully and gently and must not be thrown down or allowed to drop to the floor.
7. In cutting cartridges no implements shall be used except those provided by the Company. The use of clasp knives is strictly prohibited in all explosives buildings.
8. Oily rags or waste or any other refuse must not be thrown in or about the buildings or upon the grounds, but must be placed in the receptacles provided for that purpose.
