Pembroke Dock Wales 1916 31 + 30 days 30 THURSDAY (90-276) (30 to 2) March + April Report to Adjutant + am told off to assist Lieut. Dentham - a rambler, with whom I am not impressed. Take afternoon parade - squad drill with arms Mess small - Maj. Vereher - Lieuts. Sharpe, Partridge, Sandeman + James Wrote long letter to Ada. 31 FRIDAY (91-275) Took No. 1 Squad at Squad drill without arms 2nd parade instruction in Knotting by Sgt. Dovey P.M. - Kit inspection - nearly all the 2/3 PRGH half kit missing. Pay Parade - To the bank + drew 78 pounds odd in silver - Paid off over 200 men + only 3 d. shy at end. miraculous performance that I did mix florins and halfcrowns. Walk to Pembroke. Y.O.'s examined today. 1 April SATURDAY (92-274) Sent to Chester - Rations 1-20 Mar. + Fielddo No drills, men being picked out for 121 Siege Go on duty boat with Sharp + Dr. Popert to Stack Rock, to South Hook + walk to Neyland, dinner at Milford Haven. Call with Sharp on a Mrs. Christian at Neyland. Great influx of Y.O.'s for the Siege course. 2 SUN - 4 in Lent (93-273) 4h 21 PM (Greenwich) Long walk with Capt.
