knitted gloves or mitts & socks will be needed later on. Parcels should be registered always x. I enclose 2 photos of myself & one of Bateman, Findley & myself. The latter please forward on to Ada when you write her. Keep one of myself & give the other to Cousin Jennie - with my very best regards. Write me to the address at beginning of letter - It will find me eventually. I trust you are in better health than when you wrote & that I may see you all on my way home - although our hope of betting home seems fainter than ever. I am writing this in the corner of a Flemish barn, the roof of which has been blown in by shell fire - Hoping to hear from you, Yours very sincerely Frank Swannell
