Please give Hilda my very best wishes from "Somewhere in Flanders" If you know of anybody wishing to send X little comforts to our boys I wish you would give them the names of the poor lads of my old section - who have no hope of promotion and a winter campaign ahead. Bde CE.F France They are splendid chaps - all from the Northern Interior of BC. Eatables - chocolate especially - or home-made candy are most appreciated. For some reason everybody sends cigarettes or tobacco of which there is an overplus. - and many of us dont smoke
