BM.10 19th May.
You will send a patrol forward to re-connoitre and place in a state of defense with a machine-gun the house shown on map southside of Road half inch Southwest of Road Junction at Quinque Rue.
The patrol report required at 1 pm. today. Further you will send a patrol along communication trenches to reconnoitre houses at L12 and discover if they are occupied. Definite report as soon as possible. Artillery is to shell orchard N1.2.N1A till 10pm tonight, when the battalion will take the position x. Patrols working on L12 today are to be used as guides for another battalion which will occupy L12 tonight and obtain machine-gun from 13th Battalion
