I expect you may see Ronald before very long and you must all have been surprised to hear that he was on his way out to Vladivostock as an Interpreter. He certainly didn't waste much time in England.

I had a letter from him tonight, he says he goes by way way of Vancouver, so is in great hopes of being able to make Victoria. Wasn't it nice that Florence, Sholto and he were able to foregather in Edinburgh before he left?
