stated that he was just hearing for Eng. preparation to hitting the trail for BC. His Can. leave came through which was "tres bien" & one can imagine Mai's joy when she hears that he is returning safely. At the same time to an outsider like me, it seems as an extraordinary time to leave the country, why not have it put off for a little & been on hand for the Peace celebrations, for sure these will be days worth experiencing over here. Especially the triumphant march into Germany which we have already commenced! We have been on the go for some time now & believe me we have some hike before us, but I would not miss this for anything. As the censorship regs. have been lifted to a great extent allowed to mentioned names of places that we are at
