P.S. I have been writing this letter to you in bed with my fountain pen. I think I have done pretty well & as it is now 12 midnight, I think it's time I got off to sleep. By the way to give you an idea of prices over here I bought a pair of trench boots in London last Sat. What do you think I had to pay for them, nothing short of £7.00. $35.00 isn't it the limit. How many tons of coal could I buy for that? By the way how is the Packard truck doing, slinging it out pretty fast I suppose?!
