Canadian Machine Gun Depôt Seaford, Sussex

in our choice, though of course the shows are nearly always good in London. "The Boy" was top hole, we had a great laugh it was fearfully funny! I met Brenda the week end before last, she was staying at the Berner's too. We all 3 went to the Aug 4th anniversary service at the Westminster Abbey on the Sunday morning. We were really rather disappointed in the service, as the old fossil who delivered the sermon spoke in such a gloomy way & wasn't a bit encouraging, besides it was such an opportunity to bring off something impressive, but instead it was very dull. We all had a very good view of the King & Queen driving up to attend the service at St. Margaret's Chapel, after we had just come out from the service at the Abbey
