Dec 13. Thurs. Recd an "Eilbrief" fr T. dated 11th. She does not yet know when they can leave Dresden for Norway.

Dec 16. Sun. Posted card to T. Dresden.

Recd card fr T 13th.

Dec 17. Mon. My 46th birthday. Recd 2 provision parcels fr C. R. + 47B and47C.

Dec 18. Tues. Pierce bought me in a little black watch he had bought for me in Berlin 20 M

Dec 21. Fri. Card from T of 19, saying they are leaving for Norway tomorrow (20th) at 1.55pm & go on from Belin Friday night 12.17. Will be travelling till Sunday 5.30. Could get no sleepers.

Dec 24. Mon. Posted first letter to T. to Fredrikstad, Norway. Also card to Frau Pfotenhauer, Dresden. An offical notice was put up, signed by acting Capt. Fisher (Powell still in Lazarette) to the effect that about 350
