MEMORANDUM From O/C B Coy To The Adjutant 14th Devons
In the Field 29.12.1916 As attached, since Lance Sergt Lewis, H. has been demoted to Sergt, the form No. 40786 L Cpl SLIM, J. is recommended by me for promotion to Corporal, for the consideration of the Commanding Officer , please.
With reference to the fourteen paid L. Corporals in my Coy., mentioned in your memo of the 27th inst., are you intending the Attached Ganger, No 2364 LCSI WITHAM, W. on the strength of my Coy? P.T.O.
